University of Makeup vs Traditional Makeup School

There has been a lot of hype about the University of Makeup the last few months. Are there makeup courses really a substitute for your traditional makeup schools and is it worth joining? Our University of Makeup review will certainly shed some light on the subject.

The art of makeup has become more important over the last 20 years. This is due to many reasons but some might say it is due to the increase in the quality of photography. You won’t find a model shoot or wedding where the ladies are not wearing any makeup. The other factor that has played an important part is that the corporate world is demanding more from women to look their best.

Therefore, women had to learn the art of makeup application by themselves or went for professional training. Professional training has been accessible only to students who would like to become professional artists. The casual 1 hour makeup lesson at a salon has also become more popular over the last 5 years.

Online training is quickly becoming one of the most popular forms of training. People find it that the same kind of training can be obtained online while paying a fraction of the cost compare to going to a traditional school. But is this kind of training really enabling women or students to become experts in the field?

We’ve decided to give the Full Makeup Course of the University of Makeup a try to see if women are really able to become professional by studying online. The Full Makeup Course consists of 67 video training tutorials where a professional makeup artist shows the basics of makeup application and then moves on to more advanced techniques. The course also has other training content such as manuals, ebooks, face charts and template documents.

We decided that the best way to review this product is to compare the University of Makeup to a regular makeup school.

Traditional Makeup School: No, only makeup training are offered.
University of Makeup: Yes, students are given template documentation to help setup their business.

We have found that although many students will still prefer going to a physical school there would be a lot of the new generation that will start their studies online. Baring in mind that there are a dramatic difference in the cost between the two options, people will certainly enjoy studying online from anywhere in the world.

Our suggestion would be that if you do have the funds such as $4 000+, then going to a traditional makeup school would be best. If you want to get quality training that includes a certificate and a makeup artist kit for $599 then joining the University of Makeup is a great option.

I hope you enjoyed our University of Makeup review. Keep well!
